Prompting made simple: Unlocking AI for SMEs
Date: Wednesday 22 October 2025
Time: 12:30 - 13:30
Prompt Power Hour
When you type a question or request into ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot… that’s called a prompt. And the way you ask makes all the difference.
Basic prompts often give you vague or generic answers. But with the right approach, prompts can unlock useful insights, clear strategies, and ready-to-use content that move your business forward.
That’s what this session is about. In just 60 minutes, we’ll show you how to go from simply “asking AI something” to using AI as a practical business tool.
What you'll learn:
You’ll discover how to:
-
Guide AI clearly – so it gives you focused, relevant responses.
-
Assign roles – get better answers by telling AI to “act like” a marketer, analyst, or coach.
-
Ask for outcomes, not guesses – from social posts to project plans, learn how to get what you actually need.
-
Apply the CRAFT framework – Context, Role, Action, Format, Tweak—a simple formula for better results.
-
Prompt safely – how to get value without exposing private or sensitive business data.
Who should attend?
Small business owners, managers, and professionals who:
-
Already use AI tools but aren’t sure they’re getting the most out of them.
-
Want to cut through the hype and learn practical skills they can use straight away.
Why it matters:
Better prompts don’t just save time - they help you think smarter, plan faster, and get outputs you can actually use in your business.
